English as a Second Language (ESL) General Education Teacher | Round Lake, Illinois

Preferred Experience & Credentials:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a closely related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with applicable endorsements

• Excellent communication abilities for both written and verbal interactions
• Experience supporting students from varied backgrounds, including learners of English as a second language
• Motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic about nurturing students’ academic and personal success

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach standards-aligned lessons in your subject specialty (dual Math/Science, dual Social Studies/ELA for 5th–6th grade; ESL for PREK–2nd grade)
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet all learners’ needs
• Utilize assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student progress
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that celebrates student growth
• Communicate regularly with peers, families, and leadership to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet professional expectations for classroom teachers
