Job Description
Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students across elementary, middle, and high school settings near Baltimore, MD. This contract position offers exciting flexibility in school location and scheduling, and welcomes both CCC-certified SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) ready to make a meaningful impact in education. Multiple vacancies are available, including part-time and full-time opportunities. The contract spans the full academic year, beginning August 10th, 2026 and concluding June 9th, 2027, with an anticipated 37.5-hour work week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland SLP license required
- Strong background in school-based speech therapy
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFYs will be considered
- Commitment to in-person/onsite service delivery
- Experience providing therapy to a diverse student population
- Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct therapy and assessment services tailored to student needs in K-12 settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with district guidelines
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to an inclusive learning environment
- Adapt therapy methods for multiple school sites (assignments cover elementary, middle, and high schools, with options to combine vacancies for full-time hours)
