This assignment spans the academic year, with potential extension through June 2027; you’ll start with orientation on August 24th followed by direct student interaction by August 31st. Each week, you’ll work 35 hours, Monday through Friday, serving students ranging from ages 3 to 21. Your caseload will typically involve 25-40 students with visual impairments and complex cognitive, orthopedic, and medical needs. Most students are non-verbal, so your role will focus on establishing, customizing, and integrating AAC and other communication systems—directly supporting independence and functional communication.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state license for Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
• Experience with AAC devices and non-verbal communication preferred
• Commitment to team collaboration and innovation in service delivery

Responsibilities:
