Make a difference in the lives of students by providing expert occupational therapy services in a dynamic, supportive school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an OT or COTA with a passion for helping children reach their fullest potential across preschool through 8th grade. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through approximately February 12, 2027, offering up to 37.5 hours per week over five days.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting, ideally working with ages preschool to 8th grade
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working closely with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt interventions to diverse needs
  • Proficient documentation and organizational abilities
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to student progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to address students’ fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and monitor progress toward goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Document student performance, maintain required records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Offer support, consultation, and education to staff and families to enhance student participation in daily activities within the school setting
