A dedicated School Psychologist is needed on-site for a full-time contract position covering a maternity leave from October 1, 2026, through December 2026. You'll play a vital role serving middle school students, providing psychological services, and helping to foster a supportive learning atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist licensure for Illinois required
  • Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and counseling practices in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform student support plans
  • Provide direct intervention and counseling to students individually and in groups
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and administrators to create effective support strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Serve as an on-site resource for crisis intervention and behavioral support, as needed
