Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a closely related field required
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License, including appropriate endorsements
• In-depth knowledge of curriculum design, instructional planning, and classroom management
• Clear, effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Previous experience working with English Second Language learners, ideally with Pre-K or K-2 grade levels
• Passionate about supporting diverse learners and contributing to an inclusive classroom culture

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality instruction tailored to dual language Pre-K students
• Adapt lesson plans for English Second Language learners, using engaging, age-appropriate strategies
• Establish a nurturing classroom climate that encourages curiosity and participation
• Collaborate with fellow educators on curriculum planning and student support
• Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to families and staff
• Maintain compliance with school and district policies as well as state educational standards
