Job Description

This part-time, onsite role offers the ability to create your own work schedule (3 days per week, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm), supporting elementary students from August 19, 2026, through May 18, 2027. Qualifications and Professional Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
- Active Minnesota Board of Social Work Licensure (MSW, LISW, LICSW, or LGSW)
- Minnesota Board of Teaching License
- At least three years’ experience providing social work services to children and families in a school environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve a dedicated caseload of special education students, delivering clinical social work services that support their unique educational goals
- Maintain detailed, compliant weekly progress notes for all direct services provided
- Work collaboratively with IEP teams to develop, update, and monitor Individualized Educational Plans (IEP), as well as conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and support teams in creating effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Participate in IEP meetings for all assigned students, offering insights and recommendations to ensure a holistic, student-centered approach
- Conduct comprehensive social work evaluations as part of the Special Education Eligibility process
