A dynamic school district in the Winchester, VA area seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their dedicated team on a full-time contract basis. This role offers the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and help students thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid VA SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites as needed
  • Comfortable engaging with a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Collect and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and student evaluations
  • Provide consultative support to classroom teachers as needed
