Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional to become part of our dynamic team, which includes two physicians and five Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs). This position offers a minimal on-call requirement, limited to phone consultations only.
Key Responsibilities- Manage diabetes care, including both Type I and Type II diabetes.
- Provide pump and sensor therapy, diabetes education, and medical nutrition therapy.
- Conduct pump initiations and offer a comprehensive range of endocrinology services.
- Support weight loss initiatives.
- Engage in teaching opportunities for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents, as well as ARNP/PA students and medical students.

Our endocrinology clinic is situated within a regional referral teaching hospital, recognized nationally as a Top 100 Hospital. The facility boasts 342 beds and provides easy access to a variety of specialists, laboratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more.
With over 300 employed providers across multiple specialties—including primary care, cardiology, surgery, and more—we serve a regional health system that spans 14 counties, encompassing seven critical access hospitals and 42 clinics. Our endocrinology team caters to approximately 260,000 individuals who rely on us for their healthcare needs.
As a Level III Trauma Center, we offer post-graduate education programs, including Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs, as well as Cardiology Fellowship opportunities.

Qualifications- Must be a graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school.
- Completion of an appropriate residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
- Eligibility for medical staff privileges at our facility.
- Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa.
