Job Description

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Previous experience in school settings or working with children on the autism spectrum (ASD) highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Passion for supporting diverse student needs in an inclusive school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person speech-language therapy services to students in ASD programs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication goals
- Document progress and collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and families to ensure cohesive student support
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, assessments, and ongoing development
- Offer professional guidance and resources to classroom staff for integrating communication support in daily routines
