This full-time contract position, located near Independence, Kentucky, begins in mid-August and extends through June 1st, aligning with the academic calendar. The SLP will provide comprehensive services to students across all grade levels, collaborating with educators and families to nurture communication skills and empower student success.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Hold or be eligible for CCC-SLP or be in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Current state SLP license (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • Experience working in pediatrics or schools preferred
  • Strong grasp of developing and implementing IEPs
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapy and culturally responsive practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy for K-12 students
  • Conduct evaluations to determine student needs and track progress
  • Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to school meetings as needed
  • Stay current with best practices within pediatric and educational SLP
