Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current SLP license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience working in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong understanding of school-based speech therapy practices and compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with virtual supervision tools and technology
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual supervision to an onsite SLPA, assisting with assessment, treatment planning, and service delivery
- Consult regularly with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student goals
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring all interventions comply with IEP requirements and state guidelines
- Provide mentorship, training, and feedback to the SLPA, promoting professional growth and effective best practices
- Maintain accurate, detailed records in line with education and healthcare documentation standards
