What We’re Looking For:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates welcome
- Experience working with school-age children, particularly upper elementary and middle schoolers, is a plus
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Effective communicator and proactive collaborator with staff and families
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy sessions to students in grades 5–8
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write comprehensive reports
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Record student progress and maintain documentation in accordance with school and state standards
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure optimal student support
