Per Diem Inpatient Pharmacist in Rembert, SC

Provide expert inpatient pharmaceutical care in a dynamic behavioral health hospital setting as a Per Diem Pharmacist. This role involves both on-site and remote duties supporting inpatient behavioral health patients in a 60-licensed-bed facility, with an average daily census around 15-30 patients. The assignment runs from September 26th through October 15th, with a mandatory training week starting September 21st.

Schedule & Coverage:

• Training week: September 21st (1 day required)
• September 26-27: On-call coverage
• September 28 – October 2: 8am-4pm shifts plus on-call after each shift
• October 5-8: 8am-4pm shifts plus on-call after each shift
• October 12-15: 8am-4pm shifts plus on-call after each shift
• Weekend on-call as needed (remote verification & answering questions)

Core Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and compliance
• Manage inventory and refill automated dispensing cabinets (Omnicell)
• Place orders through Cardinal supply system
• Provide remote support during weekends as necessary
• Work independently as the sole pharmacy staff on-site

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Valid, active South Carolina Pharmacist license
• Familiarity with inpatient behavioral (psychiatric) care preferred
• Willingness to learn order entry system (Wellsky) and site automation (Omnicell) — training provided
