Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and schools near Silver Spring, MD for the 2026-2027 school year. Contribute your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic, educational setting where you will work collaboratively to help students achieve their communication goals. Several openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school levels, with flexible combinations for full-time possibilities.

You’ll support students across various schools, including Forest Ridge ES (3 days/week), Swansfield ES (5 days/week), Elkridge Landing MS (2 days/week), Hammond MS (3 days/week), Howard HS (1 day/week), and Wilde Lake HS (4 days/week). An additional split vacancy may be available, offering a blend of experience at Wilde Lake HS and Howard HS. The contract spans from August 10, 2026, to June 9, 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid MD Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • SLP-CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status accepted
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to onsite, in-person service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver speech and language therapy to students in assigned schools
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with educational teams and families
  • Participate in team meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
