Exciting opportunities await Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract role for the upcoming school year! This position is located near Valparaiso, IN and offers the chance to make a lasting impact within dedicated elementary and middle school communities. Three SLPs are sought—Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred—and there is no consideration for SLPA candidates at this time. Candidates open to travel are welcome, and assignments are available across a variety of engaging settings within the area.

As a key support to students, you will work flexible, full-time hours (7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) in one of several locations. Choose between caseloads of approximately 70–100 students, with SLA support under consideration and a focus on developmental preschool through middle school populations, depending on the site. There’s also opportunity to specialize your expertise, from early education to split-site service delivery.

Ideal applicants will possess:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in Indiana (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
  • Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience
  • Strong communication, documentation, and time management abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to varied student needs and school environments

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide screening, evaluation, and individualized therapy for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s educational success
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
