This contract position is located in the Maple Park, IL area and offers a structured full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work across two school sites, supporting a manageable caseload in both resource and general education classrooms, making real impact in students' daily experiences and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active license as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
  • Hands-on experience with sensory integration therapy
  • Background working with school-aged children, setting individualized goals, and tracking progress through clear, consistent documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in elementary and high school settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, resource specialists, and family members to support student needs in general education and resource classrooms
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize student participation and performance at school
  • Regularly assess students’ progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed to ensure positive results
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student success
