This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working with caseloads ranging from 25-30 students. You’ll deliver services in-person only—virtual candidates will not be considered—ensuring hands-on interaction and teamwork with staff and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State PT license (or willingness to obtain before start date)
- Physical Therapist experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Able to be fingerprinted through OSPI, or willing to complete the process
- Comfort and adaptability with K-12 students and diverse needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group physical therapy services to students district-wide, in line with IEP goals
- Assess students’ physical needs and design tailored interventions to support educational access
- Collaborate closely with educators, school support staff, and families to develop and monitor treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Implement evidence-based practices and adapt to changing caseload needs throughout the year
