Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Valid LSW or LCSW license
• Previous school-based experience is essential
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Ability to work with diverse student populations (K-8)

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise the Student Support Team, including oversight of counselor caseloads and ensuring compliance with special education requirements
• Champion social, emotional, and behavioral well-being by delivering individual and small-group counseling
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to help students thrive academically and personally
• Collaborate closely with school teams to coordinate Tier III student supports
• Act as the McKinney-Vento liaison, supporting students experiencing homelessness or housing instability
• Build partnerships with local community agencies to maximize student resources
