Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 16-week contract to cover maternity leave. This role begins on 8/24 with a 2-week training period alongside the current Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), followed by independent work at a single-pharmacist site.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily prescription volume of 20-30, handling all dispensing and patient care duties independently without a pharmacy technician.
- Provide high-level patient support and maintain strong communication with both patients and healthcare providers.
- Ensure timely, accurate dispensing in compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities provided by the client.
- Maintain consistent attendance with punctuality and a positive attitude, crucial for single-pharmacist operations.
Qualifications:
- Florida pharmacist license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience.
- HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience is required and must be detailed on your resume.
- Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient care.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate must confirm understanding that no pharmacy technician assistance and no relief time off (RTO) are permitted during the contract.
- Candidates will need to submit an updated resume, skills checklist, one manager reference, Florida license copy, and confirm QS1 experience and acknowledgment of working without a technician.
