This position offers flexible scheduling—working 2.5 days per week, totaling 18 hours—enabling great work-life harmony. For those seeking more hours, there are also two full-time elementary maternity leave positions (August-October and August-December) available at the same location.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
- Experience working with young children, especially in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech/language development and therapy techniques
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to helping all students reach their communication goals
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy for early childhood students
- Assess, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans for diverse communication needs
- Work in full partnership with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Promote an inclusive, positive learning environment for all students
