Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a MIGS Specialist to become part of our employed physician team. We are currently evaluating candidates with a surgical background who also possess a keen interest in pelvic medicine. The scope of our practice encompasses various aspects of pelvic health, including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar conditions, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Please note that this role does not involve obstetrics.
Position OverviewThe chosen candidate will join our Medical Group, which consists of nearly 700 healthcare providers within our integrated healthcare system. Our organization, based in Akron, Ohio, stands as one of the largest healthcare delivery systems in the state, featuring two hospitals and over 20 health centers that ensure comprehensive access to care across the region.

- Work schedule includes 3 days in the office with plans to expand to 2 days in the operating room.

- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
- Possession of an unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Active participation in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
