*Position Summary*\n

\nThe Production Operator is responsible for supporting copper manufacturing operations by manufacturing, processing, assembling, inspecting, transporting, packaging, and shipping materials in accordance with work instructions, standards, and company guidelines. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety in a fast-paced industrial environment. The role also supports compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements through proper handling of materials, waste, and equipment.\n

\n*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*\n
\n
\n· Set up and operate machines at the start of a production run (install tooling, calibrate, clean, and verify correct program or settings).\n
\n
\n· Control and adjust machine settings such as speed, feed, temperature, or pressure during operation to maintain output and quality.\n
\n
\n· Load and replenish raw materials or components and remove finished product from the line or machine.\n
\n
\n* Monitor product flow through production stages, including raw material handling, processing, finishing, packaging, and shipping.\n
\n* Package finished goods and prepared materials for storage, transport, or shipment in compliance with customer and company requirements.\n
\n* Inspect in‑process and finished parts using basic measuring tools and visual checks to verify they meet specifications\n
\n* Move raw materials, work-in-process, scrap, and finished product using carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other approved equipment as trained and authorized.\n
\n* Identify and report quality concerns, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, process deviations, and environmental issues to supervision.\n
\n* Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.\n
\n* Follow all company policies, safety procedures, quality standards, and environmental regulations.\n
\n* Support waste segregation, recycling, and proper disposal practices for scrap and byproducts.\n
\n* Assist with production records, inspection logs, material usage documentation, and other required reporting.\n
\n* Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve throughput, reduce scraps, and enhance product quality.\n
\n* Perform other duties as assigned.\n

\n*Qualifications*\n
\n
\n* High school diploma or GED required.\n
\n* Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, packaging, shipping, or material-handling experience preferred.\n
\n* Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.\n
\n* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n
\n* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.\n
\n* Basic math, measurement, and documentation skills.\n
\n* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.\n
\n* Ability to lift materials and work in a physically demanding industrial setting.\n
\n
\n*Preferred Qualifications*\n
\n
\n* Experience in copper, metals, mining, smelting, refining, casting, rolling, or related heavy industrial manufacturing environments.\n
\n* Familiarity with quality systems and production standards.\n
\n* Experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges.\n
\n* Forklift or industrial truck certification, if applicable.\n
\n* Basic knowledge of environmental, safety, and waste-handling procedures.\n
\n
\n*Shift-Based Schedule*\n

\nThis is a shift-based position and may require work on days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts based on production demands. Candidates must be available to work assigned shifts and may be required to work overtime or extended hours when necessary to meet\n
