Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois state OT license or eligibility
- Previous experience with high school populations and/or students with complex needs preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and execute targeted treatment plans within a school setting
Responsibilities:
- Support a caseload of approximately 18 high school students, providing individualized and group OT services
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to create inclusive learning environments
- Conduct evaluations, set goals, track progress, and ensure compliance with IEPs
- Participate in school team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold professional standards
