Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois state OT license or eligibility
  • Previous experience with high school populations and/or students with complex needs preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and execute targeted treatment plans within a school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Support a caseload of approximately 18 high school students, providing individualized and group OT services
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to create inclusive learning environments
  • Conduct evaluations, set goals, track progress, and ensure compliance with IEPs
  • Participate in school team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Maintain thorough documentation and uphold professional standards
