Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Washington State
- Previous experience in K-12 educational environments
- Competency with psychological assessment tools and IEP processes
- Ability to provide behavioral, emotional, and academic evaluations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity in diverse school communities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and write clear, actionable reports
- Take an active role in problem-solving teams and intervention planning
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on student needs
- Participate in the creation and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive school climates
