Key qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid licensure or credential as a School Psychologist
  • Experience providing psychological services in school settings, particularly at the elementary level
  • Proficiency in conducting SPED (Special Education) assessments and developing interventions
  • Strong competency in individual and group counseling and in delivering behavioral supports
  • Adaptability for traveling between two assigned sites
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive special education assessments, including cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral evaluations
  • Provide counseling services supporting students’ mental health and positive behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement evidence-based interventions and foster a supportive school climate
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs based on data-driven recommendations
  • Serve as a resource for staff on behavioral strategies and student support best practices
