LHH is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity with our manufacturing client in the Richmond, VA area. The ideal candidate will have great communication and relationship building skills and experience staffing for light industrial and corporate roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through multiple sourcing channels, including referrals, networking, job fairs, social media, and community partnerships.
- Screen and evaluate candidates through phone and virtual interviews.
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines.
- Track candidate activity and maintain accurate recruiting documentation.
- Manage employment offers and onboarding communications.
- Coordinate and process new hire paperwork and compliance documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related questions.
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Manage internal job postings and assist with job description development.
- Ensure compliance with hiring and onboarding regulations and best practices.
- Foster strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Participate in professional development and stay current on recruiting trends and practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, and applicant tracking processes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience conducting structured interviews and evaluating candidates objectively.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, onsite environment.
