What You'll Do
- Manage invoice processing, coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor and maintain the accounts payable workflow to ensure invoices and vendor requests are handled promptly.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with weekly payment processing and cash disbursement activities.
- Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and support month-end close activities.
- Help identify and resolve aged invoices, unapplied credits, and other outstanding accounting items.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Receiving, Operations, and Accounting teams to maintain accurate financial records.
- Experience processing accounts payable in a high volume office setting
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Sage 100 or similar ERP experience.
