Step into an impactful role supporting students’ growth as a contract speech-language pathologist this academic year. Multiple full-time positions are available for those who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children from preschool through middle school. These onsite assignments in the San Juan Capistrano area offer the unique chance to join a close-knit school community and lend your expertise across several campuses and age groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 55 students per SLP, spanning preschool, elementary, or middle school settings.
  • Conduct assessments, design and carry out individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and families.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help foster a supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid and active SLP license for the state of California.
  • Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred.
  • Adaptable approach, with a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
