Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Lancaster, TX
Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy technician role is available on a per diem basis, offering the opportunity to deliver essential support within a busy retail and long-term care pharmacy setting. This position requires a licensed technician ready to contribute to efficient pharmacy operations while providing excellent patient care and customer service.
Location:
- Waxahachie, TX
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours daily)
- Coverage needed from August 10 to August 28, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provide clear information and guidance to customers regarding their medications and usage
- Maintain a high level of customer service to enhance patient satisfaction
- Support pharmacy operations by assisting with inventory, labeling, and record-keeping as necessary
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with the pharmacy team
