Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure for Texas (or eligibility pending)
- Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload of students across multiple grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students using standardized speech, language, voice, and fluency tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide direct therapy and monitor student progress towards IEP goals
- Document and maintain progress notes, evaluation reports, and other mandated documentation
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current on best practices, advances, and state regulations pertaining to SLP services in education
