Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure for Texas (or eligibility pending)
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload of students across multiple grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students using standardized speech, language, voice, and fluency tools
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy and monitor student progress towards IEP goals
  • Document and maintain progress notes, evaluation reports, and other mandated documentation
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to foster student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Stay current on best practices, advances, and state regulations pertaining to SLP services in education
