Location: East Setauket, NY

Salary: $80,000-$90,000 annually

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a valued client in the construction industry to identify a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to work onsite Monday-Friday.

Duties:

• Onboarding of new hires

• Weekly in-house payroll for both non-union and union members.

• Weekly processing of payroll taxes

• Weekly processing of employee garnishments

• Weekly & Monthly processing of Certified Payroll Reports

• Weekly & Monthly processing of union benefits

• Preparation of work papers for various audits

• Various Human Resource duties to include unemployment, health insurance, 401K

• Special projects as needed

Skills/Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills with employees and project managers required.

• Microsoft Office experience necessary.

• Strong Excel required.

• Timberline/Sage 300 helpful, but not necessary.

• Ability to Analyze Information, Deal with Complexity, Report Research Results.

• Accurate Data Entry Skills, Attention to Details, Maintain Confidentiality

• Ability to Multi-Task with Good Organizational Skills
