Patient Service Representative (Call Center/ONSITE)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire



Position Overview

We're looking for a customer-focused Patient Service Representative (ONSITE) to join a busy healthcare call center supporting a multi-location specialty practice. In this role, you'll assist patients by scheduling appointments, answering questions, verifying insurance information, and providing an exceptional patient experience.



Responsibilities

  • Answer high-volume inbound patient calls
  • Schedule appointments for multiple providers and locations
  • Triage patient calls and determine the appropriate next steps
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information
  • Document patient interactions accurately
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support patient needs


Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (healthcare preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving and active listening abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple computer systems
  • Healthcare or call center experience is a plus, but not required

Pay Range: $17/hr-$19/hr + Full Time Benefits
