Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Current state licensure or eligibility in Texas
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt and design therapy plans for students with various needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Document assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and share expertise within multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a positive learning environment to encourage student progress
