Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech and Language Pathologist Certification
- SLP-CCC credential required
- Experience working with K-12th grade caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Previous school or pediatric experience highly valued
- Ability to collaborate efficiently within an educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students across all grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Consult and partner with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and student-centered planning
- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards established for school-based SLPs
