Step into an opportunity supporting students and educators as an ARD Facilitator for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this contract position, you'll partner with a junior high school caseload, dedicating 40 hours per week to guiding individualized educational planning and ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures. Your expertise in special education and your collaborative spirit will be essential to help every student thrive.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Strong background in special education, with experience supporting diverse learning needs
  • Prior experience facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, including coordination, documentation, and goal development
  • In-depth knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with educators, parents, and related service providers
  • Detail-oriented approach to case management and scheduling
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and composure in a busy junior high setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate ARD meetings in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for each case
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrative staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and ensure consistent support throughout the year
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for best practices and regulatory requirements in special education
