This is a full-time, school-year opportunity (August 25th through May 28th) working with a high school, cross-categorical caseload. It’s an ideal challenge for a passionate educator ready to make a meaningful impact while broadening their professional and personal horizons.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education for Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience with high school-aged students preferred
  • Strong skills supporting cross-categorical student needs
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and inclusive instruction to high school students with cross-categorical needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Foster an empowering and supportive learning environment
