School Occupational Therapist | Sweetwater, Tennessee

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in the state
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation
• Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Maintain thorough, compliant records of therapy sessions, progress, and assessments
• Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce skill development in classroom and home settings
