An exciting contract opportunity awaits for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support high school students within a dynamic educational environment near Maple Park, IL. This assignment runs from September 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027, offering full-time hours during the academic year. The selected professional will play a vital role in fostering students’ growth, helping them achieve greater independence and success in their educational goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Previous experience in a school setting supporting high school-aged students
  • Ability to work onsite; remote work is not available
  • Must be fully credentialed as an Occupational Therapist (COTAs will not be considered)
  • Strong interpersonal communication and written documentation skills
  • Capacity to collaborate with teachers, administration, families, and other therapy team members

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to the needs of high school students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives
  • Assess students’ functional abilities and adapt interventions to the school setting
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff to support student outcomes
