You’ll focus on one elementary school, providing in-depth support across 35-37.5 hours per week in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire licensure in Occupational Therapy
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Experience in school-based OT or a strong desire to work with children in educational settings
- Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students to evaluate functional physical development and support their self-regulation
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans optimizing students’ ability to participate in school routines
- Consult with school staff to identify and remove environmental barriers for student access and learning
- Document progress, adapt interventions, and contribute to placement decisions aligned with student needs
- Attend meetings and provide training or recommendations to colleagues and families as needed
