School Psychologist - Saint Charles, Missouri

Take the next step in your career supporting students as a School Psychologist in a contract role during the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity is located near Saint Charles, MO, with potential assignments in either Hazelwood or Bayless Districts. Assignments will involve working on-site across up to two school campuses, with the exact sites to be determined.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring students’ educational needs are met, with the support of an administration that values your well-being and work-life balance. The majority of your time will focus on assessments, evaluations, and compiling reports, particularly as part of the Child Find initiative. Caseloads are set between 30–40 students to ensure a manageable, productive environment—elementary to high school, or potentially K–12. The director emphasizes supporting contract staff and maintaining average caseloads so you can truly make a difference without being overextended.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active MO Department of Education (DOE) certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience with school-based assessments, evaluations, and report writing
• Comfortable serving students across elementary and/or high school grade levels
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-focused environment with a flexible attitude
• Completion of required background steps: drug screening and fingerprinting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations in compliance with Child Find requirements
• Prepare thorough, accurate reports for each evaluation
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support each student’s needs
• Manage a balanced caseload of 30–40 students across up to two school sites

This contract is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, spanning the academic year from late August through late May. Interviews are time-sensitive and flexible, with Friday as the preferred day.
