Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and evidence-based interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective plans
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation to students and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to improve learning outcomes
- Advocate for practices that support equity and a positive school climate
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
