Assignment Details:

• Start Date: September 8, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing contract until the position is filled internally
• Full-time schedule; specific caseload and hours will be determined by late August

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid New York State School Social Worker certification
• Current LMSW or LCSW license (required)
• Prior experience supporting students, educators, or families in school settings is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Empathy, professionalism, and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to create a positive, productive learning atmosphere
• Develop and implement interventions addressing attendance, behavior, and academic engagement
• Assist with crisis intervention, case management, and resource referrals
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and support school-wide initiatives
