Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support generalization of skills in the classroom
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing multidisciplinary planning
- Offer consultation and training to staff as needed
