Tell us about the unit(s):PEDS and Oncology

• Number of Beds – 19 total (13 pediatric beds with 6 oncology beds)
• Number of Staff – 22 total ( 10 peds and 12 oncology)
• Type of staff: always staffed with at least 1 oncology nurse per day.
  • Day Shift – 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RTs, 1 PCT
  • Night Shift – 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RTs, 1 PCT
• Patient Ratios – 1:3, 1:4, 1:5
• Type of equipment - Alaris pumps
• EMR - Cerner

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Pediatric experience in hospital
• Pediatric Oncology

Best personality Fit:

• Detail oriented and organized

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• PALS, BLS and for oncology need APHON

Floating Area(s):

• PICU, NICU

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color/Attire – all navy blue or white top

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Weekends and On call (if any)

• 6 weekend shifts with 2 being Saturdays
