Speech Language Pathologist in Merrimack, NH
Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and language development in an educational setting near Merrimack, NH. We are seeking two passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time, contract roles spanning August 2026 to June 2027. Work with K-12 students, focusing primarily on those with Autism and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs. Each SLP will manage a small caseload—typically 10 or fewer students—allowing for individualized attention and the chance to truly make a difference.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in schools and with K-12 populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies highly desirable
- Commitment to supporting students with Autism in achieving their communicative goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals and monitor student progress
- Train and support school staff and families in using AAC devices and strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other specialists
