Step into a dynamic role supporting students in a lively PreK-8 district near Aurora, IL. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity, spanning the academic year from August 11, 2026, through May 24, 2027. You'll bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a welcoming, collaborative environment, where you’ll play a key role in student assessment, intervention planning, and promoting mental wellness. The ability to work flexibly across all grade levels is important, as your caseload and specific assignments will be determined by district needs. Bilingual Spanish skills are especially appreciated for serving a diverse student population.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement is required.
  • Experience or ability to serve PreK through 8th grade students.
  • Comfortable adapting to new caseloads and grade levels as needed.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Collaborative, communicative, and resilient.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students across grade levels.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and monitor student intervention plans.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and families regarding behavioral, academic, or emotional concerns.
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and collaborate in creating safe, inclusive school climates.
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation in accordance with district and state standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and district meetings.
