A contract opportunity is available for a Home Infusion Pharmacist in Philadelphia, PA, specializing in sterile compounding within a pharmacy setting. This role involves preparing customized sterile medications, including IV fluids, in a controlled environment adhering to strict aseptic techniques to guarantee patient safety.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Duration:

• 8+ weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications according to USP and USP standards
• Oversee and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians in a low-volume setting
• Maintain cleanroom equipment and ensure a sterile environment
• Conduct final inspections of compounded preparations to ensure accuracy and safety
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in sterile compounding
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software systems
