Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 12th grade as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Eligible for or hold state licensure as a school-based SLP
- Experience with school-aged populations, ideally with students ranging from preschool through high school
- Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for working alongside educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services for a caseload of roughly 40 students, ages PreK-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct intervention and consultation in individual and group settings
- Track progress, maintain detailed records, and communicate outcomes with team members and families
- Collaborate with faculty and parents to support student progress and generalization of skills
