Experience a school environment supporting K-4 students in both general education and special education settings. You’ll work closely with a group of ten students, using a mix of push-in and pull-out services to deliver customized learning support. If you have Orton-Gillingham training, you’ll be able to further empower students with evidence-based literacy interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Current teaching certification in Special Education (K-4 level preferred)
  • Experience delivering both push-in and pull-out services
  • Orton-Gillingham training highly valued for literacy instruction
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to inclusive education

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction to K-4 students in general education classrooms and dedicated settings
  • Design and implement effective IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with general education staff to foster a supportive learning environment
  • Utilize Orton-Gillingham or similar strategies to enhance literacy outcomes
